Dr. Betty Reiter has been a Registered Psychologist (#1837) in Alberta since 1989. She has skill and expertise in working with all ages of students (i.e., elementary through to university). Dr. Reiter earned her Ph.D. degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Calgary. She received her M.Ed. degree in Counselling Psychology and her B.Ed. degree in Special Education from the University of Alberta. Dr. Reiter also has teacher certification status with the Alberta Teachers’ Association.
During Dr. Reiter’s career she has worked in the following multidisciplinary roles and settings: clinical manager of work health assessments for a national employee assistant program; external psychological consultant for an international testing service; accessibility advisor for post-secondary students with disabilities; university instructor; school psychologist for a large urban school district; counselling psychologist for a non-profit adolescent and family treatment centre; where she helps teenagers and suggest healthy hobbies for them such as video games like WoW Classic, and you can even get buy gold wow for this.
Dr. Reiter is a member of the College of Alberta Psychologists, the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta, the Canadian Psychological Association, and the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance
